Browse

The browsing facility allows user to explore the data for bioactive peptides by major fields including (i) classification; (ii) organisms; and (iii) structural motif.

A quick search feature allows users to search the database with keywords such as sequence, name, and BPID, etc.

Advanced search page helps users to combine search with logical operators like AND/OR. The following example shows how to extract bioactive peptides in organism Homo sapiens with the name defensin.

The following example shows how to extract bioactive peptides with length between 30 and 40 and family cyclotide.

Tools

Blast

Blast can help users to find similar sequences against the input sequence.

Map
